Taught health and physical education at Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois for 32 years. Retired from teaching in June 2001. Moved to Land O’Lakes, Wisconsin. I enjoy fishing, camping, golf. On the board of Lac Vieux Desert Lake Association and am busy with a small desktop publishing business from my home. Love to head west in the fall with the pop-up camper. |

Spent 15 years working with the Council for Understanding Learning Disabilities helping other parents understand learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders. Recently retired from working at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library as a youth librarian assistant for the past 22 years. Also served on the executive board of the Illinois Library Association for three years. Currently volunteering at library, attending Roosevelt’s ICL classes, gardening, and caring for my grandson. I travel occasionally too. |

| It has been an interesting and wonderful life. I have 5 great kids and 3 grandchildren. After leaving in '63 I joined the Airforce and was a aircraft mechanic in SAC. Since then, I spent time in the music business, then settled down and became an electronics technician. Later we moved to upper Minnesota and I taught computer networking. (Imagine me -- a teacher!) We moved back to Illinois in 2004 and I am currently a field engineer, still fixing stuff. I am sorry to have missed the reunion in 04, but plan on attending the next, Lord willing. | ||

I’ve spent the last 40 years trying to look like Maryann Lidster – you know, I think it might be working!!! Family: married Fred in 1968, taught art at G.E. junior high, Masters at Art Institute. Son, Fred, born 1974, daughter, Johanna, born 1976. I’ve loved being a mom and I adore our children; their lives, sorrows and joys. They are great. Owned a business in Neenah, Wisconsin which was a good experience, hard work and fun. Our passion is Kauai where we are finally retiring to our home. (Homes are also a passion – love to design them). University of Illinois, B.S. Senior year threw out my back one night. Next night roommates going out, but I couldn’t walk. They had a neighbor girl come over to watch TV with me and keep me company. Married her six months later! Got drafted. “Good morning, Vietnam!” Continued education at Indiana University, M.B.A. Director of Human Resources and Public Relations at Dettmer Hospital in Troy, Ohio for seven years. Vice President of Human Resources at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia for 22 years. Retired at age 55 and became a golf bum playing 5-6 times a week. Daughter, Anmarie, born 1973, married with two children. Lives in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Son, Baard Jason, born 1979, married with one child (so far). Lives in Fairfax, Virginia. |
